Author Guidelines

EKSIS Journal is a double blind peer review published by Information System Department, Faculty of Information Technology, Duta Wacana Christian University. This journal is publised two times a year (May and November). First Date of Publication is at 2009. EKSIS is published one volume, two number for each year. This journal is open access journal.

EKSIS is publised online and printed. Online ISSN is in progress, while Printed ISSN is 1978 1385.

  1. Article Should be Written either in English or Indonesia with total pages no more than 12. A4 paper size, single space, margin 3 cm (Left, Top, Right, Bottom)
  2. Title should be written in Times New Roman, 14 pt, no more than 18 words.
  3. Author should be written below the title, Times New Roman, 11 pt. If the writer more than 1, the arrangement should be vertical
  4. Abstract is written less than 250 words. Times New Roman, italic, 11 pt.
  5. Introduction is the journal part which gives the explanation about the current condition, research questions, and scope.
  6. Literature Review should be taken from relevant sources, such as Proceeding, Scientific Journal, Paper, and other competent sources
  7. Analysis is the third part of the journal. It can contain the analysis and design of the system, formula, and analysis which is conducted in the research.
  8. Closing is the last part of the paper. It contain result of the study and suggestion for further research.
  9. Reference. We use reference using APA Style.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
